I will turn off the water when washing dishes by hand
(Goal Met!)
Instead of just running the faucet while washing dishes by hand, I will fill a container (dirty pot or something) with water and then turn off the faucet.

says, Next time, we could let the water run for 30 seconds and measure how much water comes out of the faucet. If we time how long, on average, we keep the water off while washing a dish, we'd get an idea of how much water we save.

says, It was a slow start, but gradually, I have been remembering to plug the sink, or find a large pot to use for dishwater. Originally, I'd thought I ought to buy a plastic bin, & found that I really didn't need an extra container! Great project, it's made me think ahead & use less water...& I think it might make my dishwashing time more efficient!

says, I actually just had my first really smooth and successful use of hand washing dishes partially filling the sink and turning the water off. It went great!
