It can be big or small, serious or playful. Get inspired, tap the drum, start a rhythm, and the results will come.
Some people don't have money to buy new glasses, and as a result they can't see as well. Different groups have boxes to collect the old glasses that you can't use any more and they give them to poor people who can. Donate a old pair of glasses to a place where they will be put to good use.
We drop ours off at a local drug store optometrist who keeps a Lions Club donation box. The Lions Clubs of America have been long time supporters of helping visually impaired through eyeglass recycling, frame recycling, and surgery sponsorship.
It is fun knowing that your glasses go to a good place. It leaves you with a sense of accomplishment.
This is a great project, Audra! I love the idea that the glasses that no longer help me might find a new home and help someone else! I added a resource to your project to help people find out where to donate their glasses.
