I had a moment yesterday when I was in a store and saw the Quaker Oats container, and thought... I need oats, I'll just grab.... wait: No. And headed myself over to the bulk aisle. It's hard to break old habits, but kinda neat to have a little earthbongo voice urging me to be more mindful about my choices. I'm thinking to add in another bulk item now -- I'll report in what I choose. cheers.

I love this story & Dana's take on it!

Most of the time in life, I want fewer and better choices. Instead of weighing lots of options, I just want to get my shopping (or whatever) done & feel good about it. To me, this project is about editing out the distracting or 'bad for you' choices so it's easier to make decisions and get on with what is really important.

Nice work. A good life seems to be about retraining your brain. Nowadays, when I walk into a grocery I see most aisles as having "nothing". Chip aisle..."nothing". Candy aisle..."nothing". It makes it easier that I am gluten free, but I feel liberated from the addictions and temptations of the SUPER market. Good'onya! To the bulk section I go...
