• Summer mornings

It's Saturday morning and we're planning the weekend. I love these relaxed summer mornings when I can focus on family and what we can do to enjoy ourselves outside. I realized that this is a perfect time to plan an Earthbongo related activity. Where ever we end up today, there's going to be an opportunity to clean up. Are we going to a park or a beach? Are we going somewhere that we park our car? Are we riding our bikes? Without a doubt, we're going to see some trash and we're going to have the bags and gloves to pick it up!
We picked up trash on the beach on the 4th of July. It was so fun. Through this activity we got some exercise, made new friends, prompted questions and had great discussions about the environment and family and Life with total strangers. Oh, yeah, and we left the beach all nice and clean.
