Watching fireworks with family is great. The grandkids up past their bedtime, their parents (including me) oohing & ahhing as blossoms explode over the water and the grandparents & their siblings telling stories and enjoying the chaos.

And then the next day, it's time to pay the piper.

On the 5th, we'll be taking the kids out to clean the beach. We'll see how much crud we can gather and post our results here.

Great idea! This reminded me of something I wanted to remember to do this July 4th. Zach and I started a project inspired from your comment.
